Military Equipment

The civil status that Conimbriga maintained throughout its existence explains why remains of military equipment are rare. On the other hand, the political history of the city and region explains why the few datable finds belong precisely to the first years of the Roman Empire and, later, to the Suevic and Visigothic period.
